Becoming An Ocean - a day for women
Sunday 26 January 10am – 4pm
Led by Maitrisiddhi from Taraloka Retreat Centre
26th January, 10am – 4pm
For those who regularly attend a Triratna centre.
Please feel free to join us for the whole day or just the morning.
How do we build a strong and kind heart-mind? A capacity for compassion for ourselves and others? An ability to delight in the good, wherever we find it? And how do we meet whatever presents in our lives with resilience, without getting thrown helplessly around by the ups and downs? Learn how your mind can grow more like an ocean than a puddle.
This is a day retreat exploring how to train our minds in unconditional well wishing (metta), compassion and equanimity; in traditional terms- 'the Brahma Viharas' – the limitlessly positive states of mind that are our heart’s natural state.
The day will include teaching, meditation, ritual and interactive explorations.
No need to book, just turn up! (But you can let Lexi know that you are attending as it might help to know numbers: itslexblack@gmail.com)
Please bring some vegan food for a shared lunch
